    Sooo.. how many people have had " shoulder replacement " surgery, - the " new medical surgery trend- that would've/ didn't need it, if this therapy was initially evaluated And addressed by this therapy ?? .. Same for " knee replacement ".

    I hated foam rolling because it hurt and nothing ever got better, but not true with block therapy!

    I've been having right hip low back knee pain chronically for some months and seeing a specialized Chiro, but after my last treatment it was right back to where it's been. It was hard to get up, walk, lie on my side and very painful. I used a rolled up yoga mat as the towels didn't do much and to my great joy afterwards I walked normally!!! I've done this three times today for the first time ever and even with sitting during the day it has mostly held strong and I am still doing great. When I felt it start to lock up and hurt I just repeated the exercise.It's pretty miraculous. I would say the discomfort of resting there allowing the psoas to release is a rather creepy sensation inside😂 but so well worth it. I'm so grateful to you and that this episode came up on my feed last night. The Universe responded to my request yesterday to show me what was needed. A quick response and perfectly effective. It was so eye opening when you explained that the psoas is the connecter of the upper body to the lower body and that really was highlighted to me. I just knew this was going to work. Sending you so many thanks and blessings with lots of true Peace and Love🙏✨✌️ and thank you Universe😘

    This is the first psoas release that actually made me feel something 🥲 thank you! I stand on my feet all day for work and my hips and lower back take the abuse. I’ll be doing this daily

      Hi there! No there isn't anything wrong. Your mid-section may be so frozen that you don't feel any pain right away. Continue the practice and notice if things change as you melt through the layers.

    As usual interesting to listen to you! And the feet are so incredible and important. I walk barefoot as much as the weather here allows it and always use barefeet shoes. I just have a concern about getting the knees down to the floor when sitting crossed legged. What I have learned from yinyoga teachers Paul Grilley and Bernie Clark is that the hip bone is placed differently in different people, and I have seen photos of this, so you can be like internally or externally rotated in the hip joint which makes it easy for some to get their knees down to the floor and for others very hard,even impossible, if they don't raise their bum up a bit on a cushion. What do you say about that?

      HI there! The hips definitely play a part in how people do things like, get down to, or up from the ground (as you mentioned) or perform something like a squat. In our practice we teach that you do whatever works for you so that you don't hurt yourself. Even if that includes having props around you to help you in and out of positions.

    This popped up on my UA-cam channel today. I’ve been following block therapy here and there for at least a year or so. I got interested because you were talking about fascia, which is what I work with as a massage therapist, reflexologist, holistic health coach, fitness trainer and more, the learning continues. It was great to hear Walter’s story about his finding the connection between the feet and the rest of the body. I have been working with the feet since I began my massage practice, and for the past 12 years have really focused on the feet since finding five finger Vibram’s after reading about them in the book, Born To Run. I personally have been experiencing a real significant connection between the toes and the entire rest of the body and the matrix of fascia that connects it all right down to the tip of the toes and the tip of the fingers. I've used PVC pipe, yoga blocks, Wool dryer balls, stair steps, yoga toes and more to continue releasing deeper layers of tissue. There are layers of stuff!!! Thank you Deanna for doing what you do. Looking forward to learning more. The footing is one of the most important pieces of a foundation.

    I entered this world after breaking my pinky toe 5 months ago. After pampering it by sitting too much I developed hip flexor issues and then suddenly double plantar fasciitis with severe neuropathy! Very scary. Finally after 3 months of stretching hips daily and using a splint, inserts, ice, and castor oil, the neuropathy is gone but the arches and heels are still angry and this video is so welcome.

    I did this and I became overwhelmed by this sense of discomfort. It was so awkward but it wasn't painful. I took several breaths, and did the stretch a couple times and I felt so much relief in my back. Thank you so much.

    I’m actually able to get each finger between each toe then hold for 3 minutes. Is this okay or is it best to do each one separately?

      Hi there! You get more focused attention and energy when working on one or two at a time. You can do them all, but in my opinion it's not as effective.

      Hi there! It shouldn't be. We teach that the breath should be your guide when doing any of our blocking positions. If any position causes you to hold your breath, you need to lessen the intensity, or come out of the position early.
